Almost month 8!

I decided I'd better get some more pics of me up on the blog. Here are a few, one of me in the nursery, one with Dad the day he and mom arrived in Moscow, and another one taken today, during one of my semi-weekly NSTs at the hospital. The non-stress test checks the babies' heart rates and also checks to make sure I'm not having any contractions. On Monday the nurse was concerned that Isabella's heart rate wasn't rising and falling with motion like Matthew's was, but today the nurse who performed the test seemed to think everything looked alright for both of them. I have weekly appointments now with my doctor, and then head to the hospital twice a week for these tests, so there's plenty of opportunity to know what's going on with these little guys. I think I have another ultrasound set for two weeks from now. Oh! And my doctor rescheduled my c-section from July 10 to July 3, though he says he really doesn't think I'll make it to July 3 either. There's just not much more space for these guys!

Babies' ultrasound, week 29

Twin B is little Matthew. You can see his profile here, with his little nose, lips and the shadow of his eye socket. How cute!

Twin A is little Isabella. You can see that she is on her side, staring right out at you, with her hand near her left eye socket. She looks like a little alien here, so I think both of them need to grow a bit more before being born.

Isabella weighs 3 pounds, 6 ounces and Matthew weighs 3 pounds, 4 ounces, so we're happy with their development so far.
***
