Matthew and Isa at 18 months
Here are some great photos of our little ones. Please forgive the messy faces, mornings can be hectic. When we took Matthew and Isabella to their last doctor's appointment a couple of weeks ago, they were both 34 inches long, and Isabella weighed 27 pounds, 3 ounces and Matthew an even 27 pounds. They are neck and neck in the growth process, though Isabella beats Matthew on the charts because she's a girl. I don't have anything to compare this to, but they are both wearing size 7 shoes, which I am pretty sure is ridiculously big--the other day a friend of ours told us that her three year old wears size six). Personality abounds--Matthew has become very loving and clingy, loves to give us hugs and snuggles for a good fifteen minutes when he comes out of his crib in the morning or after naps. Isabella is very independent, but will take time out of her very busy schedule to give Mommy or Daddy a kiss on the lips. So far it's just head pats and shoulder kisses for Matthew.
Tada!
It's been a few months since we last blogged, but here is a cute video taken the other day of Isabella showing off her farm animals. She was quite impressed that the cow could wear the chicken on its head. This was taken in the goofy hour right before bedtime. You can hear Schumacher and Xeyla playing with their squeakie toy in the background. Matthew and Isabella are at such a fun stage right now--running after each other and talking up a storm. They understand each other perfectly. I, unfortunately, do not speak twin.
