Matthew swims for the first time...

Last Wednesday and Thursday I was invited to be an external reviewer for North Idaho College's accreditation process (I really enjoyed myself, by the way). NIC put Luis, the babies and me up at the Holiday Inn and while I was working, Luis was busy teaching our little ones to swim. Isabella enjoyed the water, but not nearly as much as little Matthew, so when I got back to the hotel in the evening, we took Matthew down again so I could get some shots. Pretty fun stuff....

The video of Matthew worked, so here's a little one of Isa. I'm sure video will become more entertaining once these two are mobile, but I thought I'd try it out.

El video de Matthew funciono, asi que aqui tienen uno de Isa. Seguramente el video se hara mas divertido una vez que empiecen a moverse mas, pero queria por lo menos intentarlo.

Let's try video

Here's a video of Matthew eating his first spoonfuls of cereal. No video for Isabella as the project was less than successful. If this video works I'll upload a brief one of her playing with her favorite new toy.

Aqui un video de Matthew comiendo sus primeras cucharaditas de cereal. No hay video de Isabella haciendo lo mismo, ya que no fue tan exitoso el intento. Si funciona este video subire otro de ella jugando con su nuevo juguete favorito.

Happy Halloween!

We hope you all had a wonderful Halloween. I took the little ones trick-or-treating with my friends Kim and Michael and their 2 year old son Simon at the East Side Marketplace. As soon as we strolled in they fell asleep and as soon as I hit the doors to leave (Halloween loot in hand, of course), they woke up. We went home and gave out candy the rest of the night. Last Saturday Luis Alfredo and I took the babies to a Halloween party (Luis was Zorro and I was a vampire) and they slept through that too. Oh well, next year's Halloween should be more eventful, though I may get another good year in before I have to fight the little ones for some of their candy. Love to all, Ruthanne
