Well, this is Moscow in January. Today the University of Idaho closed school for the first time in about ten years. We almost couldn't get to our doctor's appointment today. We did make it, though, and heard the babies hearbeats for the first time. One's was in the 140s and the other's in the 150s. They sound healthy I think. I am trying to convince Luis Alfredo to stay home from work today. The roads are awful and he has to drive to Pullman (about 10 miles away). We'll see if he listens...

Pues, este es Moscow en enero. Hoy la universidad se cerro por primera vez en unos diez anios. Casi no pudimos llegar a nuestra consulta medica esta manana. Llegamos, y escuchamos los latidos de corazon por primera vez. Uno latia a unos 140 y el otro a 150. Creo que suenan sanos. Intento convencerle a Luis Alfredo que no vaya a trabajar hoy. Las carreteras estan horribles y tiene que manejar a Pullman (unos 15 kilometros de la casa). A ver si me hace caso...
